The 1948 creation of a land of atheists, skeptics, Christ-deniers, & idolaters was NOT a fulfillment of God’s blessing for obedience.
It couldn’t possibly be. Old Testament Israel: the temple, the altar, the law, the covenant, the geneologies, the priesthood, the ark, all came to an end in AD 70, in perfect harmony with the MULTIPLE time statements of Jesus regarding His coming in judgement.
Neither was the 1948 “Israel” necessary for the physical portion of the Abrahamic promises. That was fulfilled long ago:
Joshua 21:43-45
43 Thus the Lord gave to Israel all the land that he swore to give to their fathers. And they took possession of it, and they settled there. 44 And the Lord gave them rest on every side just as he had sworn to their fathers. Not one of all their enemies had withstood them, for the Lord had given all their enemies into their hands. 45 Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.
Rather, according to Jesus Himself (in perfect harmony with the writings of Paul):
42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
“‘The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;[d]
this was the Lord’s doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
Catch this! …
43 Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. 44 And the one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him.”
Hint: the kingdom wasn’t given to America. It was given to those inhabited by the Holy Spirit – the ones to bear the fruit of the spirit! The living stones of the new living temple in Christ under the New Covenant!
