This prophecy of Jesus was MORE than fulfilled – WHEN He said it would be fulfilled, before that generation passed:

– Actual Jewish Revolt – 66 AD

– Roman Judean War – 67 AD, including:

– – Galilee

– – Samaria

– – Sepphoris

– – Tiberias

– – Tarichaea

– – Yodfat (Jotapata)

– – Gamala

– – Gischala

Most obviously:

– Judea

– Jerusalem

Certainly not least:

– Roman Civil War – 69 AD, resulting in Titus Flavius Vespasianus (Vespasian) leaving the crushing of Jerusalem to his son of the SAME birth name: Titus Flavius Vespasianus (Titus)

All was fulfilled by Jesus’ clear deadlines:

1) in that generation (stated multiple places)

2) before some standing there tasted death

3) before his disciple John died

4) before they made it through all the towns of Israel

The city and the sanctuary were destroyed, and the power of the holy people was shattered, fulfilling Daniel … which Jesus said would be fulfilled when Herod’s temple would be destroyed.
