You CANNOT Subscribe to a PHYSICAL Kingdom View and Remain in Harmony with JESUS

Every. Single. Eschatological View. That preaches a physical, visible, earthly, observable kingdom is at odds with the eschatology of Jesus. Undeniably. Irrefutably. Categorically. And if you hear about a reurn to animal sacrifice, run … for the whole point of Jesus’ death on the cross was missed.

Jesus told us the kingdom is spiritual, not physical, in no uncertain terms

———-

Luke 17:20-21

Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”

John 3:3

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 18:36

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”

(How can anyone read that and still think that Jesus sought a physical kingdom ???)

Jesus rejected both physical kingdoms & physical kingship, from both the devil and believers

————

Matthew 4:8-10

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me. Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”

John 6:15

Perceiving then that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
