Understanding the kingdoms of Daniel and Revelation

Observations from Daniel and Revelation:

The Iron kingdom (Rome) tramples the land (Judea) with it’s FEET (Herodian Dynasty)

In the days of the kings of the FEET (Herodian Dynasty), an eternal kingdom is established

The stone cut FROM NO HUMAN HAND strikes the FEET (Herodian Dynasty) of the statue

The 4th beast stamps the land with its FEET (Herodian Dynasty)

Revelation zooms in on the FEET (Herodian Dynasty) of the statue, by describing Daniel’s 4th beast in 2 parts: Beast of Sea (Iron) & Beast of Earth (Potter’s Clay). That is, together, the FEET (Herodian Dynasty) … portrayed in the opening of Rev. 12, followed by details thereof in Rev. 13.

THIS beast, the FEET (Herodian Dynasty) is killed, it’s BODY (not the heads which equal the hills which equal Rome) is given over to be burned with fire

The Dragon works through the Herodian Dynasty of Revelation chapter 12 to attempt to kill baby Jesus

In the 5th bowl of Revelation, the throne of THIS beast, the FEET (Herodian Dynasty) is destroyed and plunged into darkness … the same FEET struck by the stone of Daniel 2

The 6th and 7th bowl outline the destruction of Jerusalem/Judea (Babylon the Great / Spiritual Harlot) immediately after the kingdom of THIS beast (Herodian Dynasty) is destroyed

Summary:

Herodian Dynasty over all Judea ended in AD 70. Gentile dominion over God’s people is no more, for God’s people are the circumcised of heart, not the flesh. Jesus’ kingdom is not of this world, not observable with human eyes, & cut from no human hand. The New Jerusalem, built upon the cornerstone of Christ and the foundation of the apostles, the Holy Mountain of God (the heavenly Jerusalem, city that cannot be touched) would replace the old physical Jerusalem and would spread throughout the world, becoming greater and lasting longer than even the Roman Empire, which was the most impressive kingdom … prior to Christ’s.
