– People OUTSIDE the gates of the New Jerusalem (bride of Christ)
– People INSIDE the gates of the New Jerusalem (righteousness dwelling)
– Nations/peoples in need of healing (in need of the fruits of the spirit)
– Birth
– Marriage
– Sin
– Curse
– Death
In addition to Revelation 21, see Isaiah 65 & 66 for Biblical proof of each of these.
But INSIDE New Jerusalem (in the New Heavens and New Earth), there is:

– no shame
– no regret
– no death
– no toil to make payment for the living water (Holy Spirit / Eternal Life)
– former things passed away
– all things made new
2 Corinthians 5:
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
The full end of the Mosaic Law, fully replaced by Christ’s New Covenant in His blood, would be the end of death for the believer – part of New Jerusalem, the bride of Christ:
Romans 14
12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned— 13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law.14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.
2 Timothy 2:10
10 and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
Conclusion:
“Heaven and earth” was a common temple/covenant term for Jews. See Isaiah 51:16 for proof. Also see Matthew 5:18 and Matthew 24:34-35 for perfect harmony.
Jesus said he would be destroying the old temple/covenant and confirming a new one. And He did … EXACTLY the way He said He would, EXACTlY within the timeframe He predicted. (in that generation, after Petee would die, before John would die – like He SAID.)
My friend, the physcial temple and mosaic covenant was destroyed in a 1260 day war that fulfilled every prediction of Jesus’s in the Olivet discourse. We are in the New Heavens and Earth. The only question is: are YOU inside the gates of New Jerusalem … or outside? Outside is a scary place to be. Go read the destiny of such in Revelation 21, or Isaiah 65:20.
For the Christian, Heaven (the 3rd heaven spoken of by Paul … not the sky or space) with the Father will be our eternal dwelling! … paid for by the Son, with the Holy Spirit as our ticket!
